As a child, my summer holidays were spent with my grandmother in a tiny village in eastern France surrounded by vast fields of wheat.
Among this multitude of ordinary fields, my dad knew a secret place, filled with marine fossils.
I was inspired by this beautiful memory to create the Jurassique earrings and remember that even the most ordinary things can contain fragments of wonder.
Please note that silver will naturally oxidize and darken over time. You can use a polishing cloth to gently polish your jewelry or you can also use Clay stone ( also called silver stone or white stone) to help clean and polish your silver pieces.
Please be aware that contact with a humid environment, chemicals in lotions, skin acidity or perfumes or soaps can affect the gold layer on your jewelry. Swimming, showering, exercising or sleeping with your jewelry on is not recommended. As for silver jewelry, try to store it away from direct light.
I use natural pearls for all Fontennoy’s jewelry. Please note that freshwater pearls are fragile and do not get along well with water or chemicals product.
