In Greek mythology, Charon carried the human souls across the river Acheron that divided the world of the living from the world of the ghosts. To be granted safe passage to the afterlife, a small offering had to be made in the form of a coin. In French, a small offering is called an « Obole ». Long forgotten at the bottom of the sea, Obole will now ensure you get through all the big changes that life sometimes imposes on us, whether chosen or not, positive or not.

Please note that silver will naturally oxidize and darken over time. You can use a polishing cloth to gently polish your jewelry or you can also use Clay stone ( also called silver stone or white stone) to help clean and polish your silver pieces.
Please be aware that contact with a humid environment, chemicals in lotions, skin acidity or perfumes or soaps can affect the gold layer on your jewelry. Swimming, showering, exercising or sleeping with your jewelry on is not recommended. As for silver jewelry, try to store it away from direct light.
I use natural pearls for all Fontennoy’s jewelry. Please note that freshwater pearls are fragile and do not get along well with water or chemicals product.
