Where I was born, a traditional weekend activity would be to go picking shells off the beach. My parents and I would spend hours digging for clams and observing marine wildlife.
In the evening, we would share our treasures between us.
It was a happy moment of sharing where I felt safe and protected.
These earrings are a way for me to pass on this memory to you and to invite to create your own happy memories.
Please note that silver will naturally oxidize and darken over time. You can use a polishing cloth to gently polish your jewelry or you can also use Clay stone ( also called silver stone or white stone) to help clean and polish your silver pieces.
Please be aware that contact with a humid environment, chemicals in lotions, skin acidity or perfumes or soaps can affect the gold layer on your jewelry. Swimming, showering, exercising or sleeping with your jewelry on is not recommended. As for silver jewelry, try to store it away from direct light.
I use natural pearls for all Fontennoy’s jewelry. Please note that freshwater pearls are fragile and do not get along well with water or chemicals product.
