This ring is named after Pontos, a sea-god as well as one of the Greek primordial deities. When I was a baby, my father read me stories of Greek heroes and deities. An imaginary world that accompanied me throughout my childhood and that I wanted to explore once again.
Please note that silver will naturally oxidize and darken over time. You can use a polishing cloth to gently polish your jewelry or you can also use Clay stone ( also called silver stone or white stone) to help clean and polish your silver pieces.
Please be aware that contact with a humid environment, chemicals in lotions, skin acidity or perfumes or soaps can affect the gold layer on your jewelry. Swimming, showering, exercising or sleeping with your jewelry on is not recommended. As for silver jewelry, try to store it away from direct light.
I use natural pearls for all Fontennoy’s jewelry. Please note that freshwater pearls are fragile and do not get along well with water or chemicals product.
